Croatian roots, born and raised in Franconia, Maja Delinić lives and works as a freelance director in Krefeld. After stays in Australia, Brazil and Russia she completed her degrees in Slavic Studies & Literature and Art History & Global Art at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg and at the State University in Saint Petersburg. She speaks five languages and is passionate about culture and communication – both on and off the stage. During her time in Russia she lost her heart to theatre and never looked back. Since 2022 she is the Artistic Director of the Shakespeare Festival Neuss.
